About
Hello, I’m Jeanie Honey, professionally qualified Enneagram Teacher, Panel Facilitator and Coach. I’ve been interested in personal and spiritual growth all my life. I’ve trained in a variety of different therapeutic approaches and explored several personality assessment tools. In my experience the Enneagram is a powerful, accurate and helpful system for enabling you to know yourself and understand the relationships in your life.
“The Enneagram saved my marriage.” I have heard this said more than once. Knowing the Enneagram is incredibly helpful in understanding the people you live and work with. It increases your acceptance of them and improves the quality of your relationships.
It’s easy to assume that other people view the world the way that I do or that you do, but they really don’t. People look at the world through very different lenses and the Enneagram makes sense of this. It helps us to show up in the world as our full and true selves, without judgement or shame, beautifully flawed as we are, and on the road towards healing and wholeness.

I live in the countryside, near to the city of Exeter in Devon, UK. I am married to Tom and we have three adult children. I love working with people, walking in wild and beautiful places, exploring the spiritual dimension of life on my own and with others, making music, baking, drinking lots of tea and the occasional gin and tonic. Although I live in Devon, I was raised in South Asia and I have an enduring love for the Himalayas, travel and exploring other cultures. I have had a social work career for many years, assessing foster carers and adopters and placing many children to be adopted by loving families.
My introduction to the Enneagram was reading “Discovering the Enneagram” by Richard Rohr. His description of a Type One (which is my type) was unnervingly accurate, and I immediately wanted to know more. I read lots of Enneagram books, and attended Enneagram workshops. I was lucky to have friends and a husband who were also very interested in the Enneagram. I felt drawn to an approach that brings together spirituality and psychology. I have found that so often insights from the Enneagram just get to the heart of the matter.
Since the pandemic started I have spent the time doing a professional training to become a qualified Enneagram practitioner. It was a natural step for me, and I remain committed to journeying with the Enneagram in my own life as well as accompanying others.
I am trained and accredited in the Narrative Enneagram delivered by Enneagram Training UK. I am a member of the Chestnut/Paes Enneagram Academy. My commitment to my work includes ongoing training, reading, researching and supervision.
